Gift of $250,000 provide resilience and wellness strategies and supports to healthcare workers
GUELPH, ON, February 16, 2022 /CNW/ – A new Center for Resilience, Learning and Growth, sponsored by The Co-operators and led by Saint Joseph Health Center Guelph, will create a central point of access to support the personal and professional resilience, well-being and growth of physicians, nurses and entire teams of care providers and support staff, ensuring that ‘they have the resources they need as they continue to deal with the professional impacts inherent in a highly stressful and trauma-prone job.

The new Center for Resilience, Learning and Growth, sponsored by The Co-operators, will focus on integrating resilience, learning and development strategies to support mental health and wellbeing as well as personal and professional growth at all levels of the organization. This multi-year project will initially be developed and implemented in Saint Joseph Health center and available to all doctors and staff. As tools are developed and strategies are designed, support from the Center will grow and expand to support other institutions within the Saint Joseph of the health system and health care partners of the Guelph Wellington Ontario Health Team.
